when i worked for ford in the late 80s we would use liquid Lysol in the brown bottle to kill the mold in the a/c evaporator box. after cleaning the drain with compressed air, we would pour it down the defroster vents let it sit for a hour or two then turn the defroster on and dry out the vents...
thanks for the help i am leaning towards a blown head gasket. 240,000 miles and a lot of them were hard miles by the previous owner. he never did any maintenance just drove the crap out of it. i have a friend that has a repair shop and he is going to look at it this week. also has any one ran a...

will the rear window rool down from the rear switch with the lockout turned off. mine will roll down with the doors open so i dont think it would have any thing to do with the door switch
most late model fords with the 150 amp alternator have 23-25 amps in reserve .on the police packages all extra equipment that is used in the car( lightbars radios, camera systems etc ) the amp draws are combined. around 25 -30 on cars with led bars and can be up to 65-70 on cars with the old...

i think i have this right just want to make sure, this is my first mod motor i have had.the 97 i have is a 2v head which i believe does not have the plug separation issue?? i have read that these engines do not like aftermarket plugs (split fire e3, bosh *4) so i have chosen to go with the...
i just got 8 cops from global automotive for 85.00 shipped recieved them in 5 days. look great new in box have not installed them yet waiting until i get my plugs changed will keep you posted
thanks for the info i had 35 on my 89 f150 with 6 sup, 3 body lift. and wound up swapping the 35 out for 38 after a year. the truck now has 33 on it. it is not driven on the road anymore has been retired to the farm hauling trash and limbs
the main reason for the lift is to run 33 nothing to crazy as it is my daily driver . i agree 3" would be better but the last truck we lifted 3" was a 89 f150 spent a lot of time and money moving bumpers, extending steering shaft. new brake lines etc that is why i was leaning towards the 2"
i have been looking at a 2" body lift on my 97 x just looking for info on this. have never done a body lift on any thing other than a truck. are there any surprises , advice to make things go easier
