There is a vibration coming from the front of the sub and it goes along with the bass of the song but I can only hear it if I put my ear close to the sub.
Normal blue light is on the amp. No smell to alarm me just kinda that new smell. Just irritating. Just made one noise and stopped workin. Amp was slightly warm not hot. Glad its all under warranty.
Set up sounds great makes my hair move lol. Very happy. Thanks for all the replies. Should I hold on to my factory speakers and 6disc changer or try and sell the stuff?
Like I said this is my first non-factory stereo system, I'm very much a rookie. The tech showed me bout 4 different units in my price range and what had the options I liked and I picked that one. Do you think it will look weird?
Ok this is my first stereo system ever so let me know what u think. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant but wanted bump. Getting it all installed Sat and everything I bought had betwee. 4.5-5 star ratings.

Anywhere like best buy sell car stereo systems complete with everything needed? Got about $1, 000 budget and don't really know what I need but I'm sick of factory.
I have an '04 and its the low beam. Replaced the bulb and when I plugged it all in the bulb started smoking and smelled like burning plastic. Any advice greatly appreciated
Just noticed on the rear plastic trim where the backup sensors are there appears to be some fade. I ran it through the wash yesterday but didn't wipe it down like I normally do after a wash and there's some areas that look faded. I just washed it to get the salt off. I'm gonna wash it after work...
Awesome. Thanks guys, gonna put them on Monday. Found a place that wants to charge $90 but after taking my running boards off its gonna be a piece of cake so I'll save the $90 and put it towards my rims and tires fund :)
I got a friend who usually does the waxing for me but I enjoy detailing my vehicles and want to know what a good spray on and wipe off wax is. Was considering the Fukken brand that this forum seems to be fond of but is there any brands I can get at Autozone? Remember I do not want to buff this...
Got them in, very nice. Talked to a mechanic earlier today and he said that the frame would have to be tapped and drilled and would cost me $200 for instal. Shouldn't these nerf bars fit in the holes already drilled into the frame? Want to know before I try and install them myself.
I stopped at a very good body shop and they're gonna charge me $25 to straighten out the wind guard deflector and remove the dealership logo. Not bad at all and saves me the time.
Thanks buddy. I'll take a little heat to it just for good measure. Supposed to be sunny and 45 on Thursday so I'll get them off then. Just irritates me that someone could screw up rain guards!
Yep I've tried everything from a troubleshooting stand point and still having the issue. But my front works great, gets very hot and thankfully can heat the entire truck with it. Just something that irritates me. I'll deal with it down the road but not on the top of my priority list right now...
Love the thread! Got the dealership logo on my '04 still and it's not a sticker it's a badge. Sounds like the hair dryer and fishing line/dental floss will work. Will it work for rain/wind guards? I've only had my truck for a month and whoever put the passenger said guard on did a terrible job...
Well for $110.75 shipped to my door I can't complain. Was a little iffy until I came across a guy with a Tacoma who had pics of these nerf bars. They look great for the price.

Been looking @ these on eBay for my '04 XLT. I know Westin is a really good brand name but does it really matter? If so, I don't mind shelling out another $150. Thanks!

Update
Torque converter is an and truck feels awesome! It was just under 1k so I didn't have to pay a dime. Talked to the Ford dealership that did it and they said other than that tranny looks excellent. They also said torque converters seem to be an issue in Expy and Explorers from '01-'04...
