AM radio sucks
Any pointers to get it to get more stations? The FM works fine but the AM band barely picks up 2 stations. This is the factory Ford radio in my 97 Expedition. I know it's not my area cause my 99 Escort has great AM signal on a stock Ford radio. Could it be a bad ground or something? Thanks in...- jdan

Want dome lights off.
You guys know of any way to make the dome lights shut off after a minute of leaving a door open? If not then I'll figure out how to switch it. I know on some fords you can put in a "code" to activate something like cycling key switch and such. 97 expedition 5.4 4x4.- jdan

Lean bank 1 2 issue fix
97 Expedition 5.4L Codes PO171 and PO174 common fix. On the back of the intake there is a pcv hose that runs from there to the passenger side valve cover Ford part # F75Z-6C324JA It usually go's bad at the elbow. Who off roads a Expy?
I saw a post joking around about installing a ARB in the front diff and it got me wondering.. Who and why install one on such a huge luxury SUV? So instead of thread jacking I'd ask here. What plugs you guys run?
I've been servicing the 5.4L's for years and aways threw in motor craft plats and never had any issues from them. But I'm just curious if there is anything better. I'm replacing my plugs this weekend. Thanks in advance.- jdan

My 97 Eddie brauer
5.4 with 183k. Just got the correct size tires on it. Took it on its maiden 80 mile round trip voyage last Sunday with the Jeep. Gotta say I'm impressed with the gear ratio to tow on the highway. I did not beat on it cause I like the tranny to stay cool on long steep hills I held it a 55 mph...- jdan

Lazy 02 sensor code
Forgot what number the code was but it pointed me to the sensor on the passenger side at the manifold. I was gonna just replace it but on closer inspection I saw black soot around the last cylinder of the manifold and the studs to head are gone. There is no noise coming from it and I've...- jdan
