Yup, another towing question
Done! Well I went on my trip and was running the coolant temp at 235 at the peak, and yes I was puckering quite a bit! With the e-fan and under-drive pulleys did give me more oomph going up the hills (cruising at 50-55 mph) BUT, came too close in over heating for my taste. Luckily I don't tow...- KenInCa

Yup, another towing question
Radiator has 2 rows. The one closest to the engine was replace last year. EDIT: WRONG.... I only have 1 row. Doh, the one in front is the AC condenser...... EDIT AGAIN!! I'm not sure if it's one or two. I believe it's two as thick as it is, but I cannot verify it. I look at the OEM replacement...- KenInCa

Yup, another towing question
The temps that I get is from the EvoHT tuner: Ambient: 105 Coolant: (only temp reading was "engine temp") will towing up hill got up to 244 degrees. Trans: None Oil: None This tuner does not have the option to read Transmission & Oil temp, unless I didn't see it. I'll look again at lunch...- KenInCa

Edit: I just contacted the company and they stated that the heavy towing suggests that you have premium....and when I looked at the programmer a little closer, it states that in the beginning...DOH!- KenInCa

Here's the scoop, I have a 2003 2wd 4.6 expy and bought the tuner. I put in the efan and underdrive pulley and I do tow a travel trailer (fully loaded around 6K) and I normally put the program to extreme and really didn't notice anything. Need to add a little more power?
This sounds reasonable, other than the fact that I would have to have a shop do this. Sounds out of my league. So what gear ratio would you recommend? Currently I have 3.73 I believe. Thanks, Ken- KenInCa

Update well today I checked the O2 sensors again, adding the bank 1 & 2 side 1 & 2 Well, the bank one is still jumping all over the place for the front and back, where as the other side is changing slower, but not jumping from 0.1v up to 0.8v, then back down to 0.1v. And its not throwing...- KenInCa
