    Stutter while driving

Most of the time it is a coil that is going bad(changing the plugs will not fix it, but if you replace the coil, replace the plug). The best way to find out is to get in to the MODE 6 data, of the OBD II data and find what cylinder is misfiring. This is what keeps track of misfires to turn on...

    Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

First off, check your air pressure in your tires. adjust to the sticker in the door jam or on the fuel fill door. Then driver the truck above 25-30 mph to wake-up the sensors. This should turn out the light if the tires are just low on air. If the fault continues you will have to get it looked at.

    AC overcharged?

I dont know what year your truck is, but they all work pretty much the same. If you know where the a/c pressure cycling switch is (located on the accumulator, next to the firewall and has 2 wires going to it). The fastest way to check a A/C system is to unhook the switch and jumper the 2 wires...

    EGR Valve Solenoid?

Sorry to hear that the clogged ports did not fix the entire problem, but if they were full, they needed to be cleaned. Do you have access to a scanner/code reader and a hand vacuum pump? Those are the tools I use to find out where the problem is. I guess you could use a volt meter and read the...

    EGR Valve Solenoid?

The port is in the elbow that the throttle body is mounted to and also that the egr vavle is mounted to. I would recommend that the elbow be removed for cleaning because large pieces of carbon would go in to the intake and could get stuck on a valve. There is also a chance that the DPFE sensor...

    EGR Valve Solenoid?

The green is for vaccum to the egr valve from the solenoid and should have vacuum only when the vavle is being actuated. The red line is manifold vacuum and should have 18-20 in-hg at idle. A common problem on the 4.6/5.4l is that the egr port in the elbow between the throttle body and the...

    Expy won't crank, buzzing sound

Have you tried to see if there any signs of water in the gem/fuse panel under the dash. It is very common to have the windshield leak and get water into those two things. Try to remove the 2 main connectors from the back of the fuse/ power box and look into the connector hole in the back with a...

    Good Spark Plugs?

I have changed a lot of plugs because of misfire issues and seen alot of problems with the Bosch. I recommend Ford plugs and might cost a few bucks more but changed out at around 100k should last longer than the motor and is better than having a problem when you really dont need one. Just my 2...

    07 Message Center Button

I looked in the sales brochure, and the message center was an option on the XLT's and standard on all the rest.

    07 Message Center Button

That is a build sheet that tells you what the truck was ordered with and not all the options that were available when it was ordered. Best place to look is a sales borchure. It tells all the options that were available on a xlt or limited.. A message center might not come on a XLT. Just like you...

I have an 07 limited and my buttons are above the radio also(3 buttons), like Chuck's pictures. I think it is a XLT thing.

Low Oil Pressure With Video of issue

It is a common problem with the oil pressure switch. Which is not a true guage. If you have over 10-15 psi oil pressure it shows up on the guage. Normally the switch is close to the oil filter area. The switches are not that spendy. Also it is not the one that requires a special shaped 8 point...

    bad cats

If you have an Infrared heat gun, run the engine until hot. then run it at about 2000 rpm for 2 minutes or so. Use the heat gun to check the temp on the exhaust pipe going it to and out of the cat converter and see if the temp goes up by at least 50 degrees f from the front to the back. If it...

    Swaybar Link?

If you are using a ford kit, the parts are updated and the nut is a different size for the bolt ( they use a bigger bolt so it wont break again). Try unbolting the other side and check the bolt lenght, maybe the kit has shorter bolts that the ford stock ones. Otherwise it is pretty straight...

    2007 Chrome Clad Rims...Outraged!!

I also have and '07 limited but with the 18's. I get people all the time saying how much they like the rims. A few did not believe me that they were stock. I had a 00 EB with the chrome clad wheels and they looked great until a 100ft fir tree crushed it in a wind storm. it was a good reason to...

    back up lights not working

In the EVTM it says the the fuse is #1.14, which is a 10 amp. It is in the central junction box (the one inside the truck). The power then goes to the manual level position sensor then to different things. If your truck has back up sensors and they work, then your fuse and MLP sensor are most...

    Muffler

if you gut the cats, you might get a check engine light, if so check out the cat monitor eliminators, summit sells them for mustangs. They should work on your truck.

    Dash Comp??? Switch

A lot of times there are extra connector to things that the truck might have that were options that were not ordered on the truck. Older mustangs and some focus's had fog light wiring in the harness but did not have the switch or the lights. If you bought a swtich, lights and installed fuses...

    Check engine light on!

Did they give you the codes? If so what are they. Inspect the PCV hose assemby all the way to the back where it goes to the manifold. This is a common problem. Also did they give you any of the Freeze frame data? This is helpful in fixing the problem.

Need Wiring Schmatics For The Reverse Sensing System

Most of the time, it is one of the sensors that has gone bad. You could get a new sensor and try swapping it out one at a time to see which one it is, or use datalogger to see which one is not reading the correct distance. There might even be a code stored for the bad sensor.

try the accessory delay relay, which is in a different relay box that I think is above the gas pedal area.
