Getting ready to change my Timing set
So I've definetly got a broken cam chain guide in my 5.4L V8. It's got 160k miles on her. I"ve got an FSM on the way to help me with the repair, but I'm also looking for some insight from you guys that have done this before. Help me with this noise!
Hi everyone, so I had some noise in my engine bay that sounded alot like a power steering pump going bad. However, it was my tensioner pully. I changed out the tensioner pulley and the idler pulley right next to it. Sounds much better. However, now I hear a different sound. Not sure if it...- 98Navi

98 Navigator only starts in neutral
So I just bought a 98 Navigator and actually haven't even gone to pick it up yet. Planning to do that tomorrow after work. Anyway, you have to shift it into neutral to start it. Also it doesn't like to go back into park. I'm thinking maybe there's an adjustment or a worn out cable...- 98Navi

New guy with a Navigator
