I have a 2001 Eddie Bauer loaded. I love the thing. But the driver's side rocker panel is about totally gone and the rust is spreading upward no matter what I do. It's now in the rear fender. Rust
On a quiet night you can hear Fords rust from the bottom up. I've been under my 2001 loaded EB and can't believe it. I'm waiting for the either the front shock towers to fail or the cradle for the radiator. Even the brake lines are rusted. The left rocker panel is gone but the right one is OK...- cobalt46

Rust!
I have a 2001 Eddie Bauer edition 5.4 L. Loaded. Green with tan interior. The first thing I noticed was rust stains on the driver side running board. The rocker panel is now gone.
