2008 EL, 5.4L engine ticking
thanks everyone. I've only recently purchased this vehicle from the dealer. It is under a 4 year warranty, and I've taken it to them regarding the ticking noise. They of course "cannot recreate the noise", but it is definitely there. It is very intermittent, but I believe happens more often once...- jcsharpe08

Hello. I have a 2008 EL with 62,000 miles and have recently noticed a ticking noise. It is very intermittent, sometimes occurring on cold start and others after it has been running.
