Thanks for posting Joe! What would the Transmission temp say? Your picture shows all normal as expected... also, so the temp number above the gauge only showed up when the temp went up? Been wanting to do this thermostat for the longest time to ease Transmission Temps.
For the tuning questions: look up Livernois tuning, they have the programmer tuning for a 2022+ Expedition and I do not see any difference since the 22M refresh.

I thought there are aftermarket thermostats or even Ford Performance Thermostat at 165 degree F? I've been considering that... My 2018 Limited with HDTTP transmission temp runs nominally at 210 degrees F it got up to 221 during a 85 degree day and having the transmission shift a lot during stop...
Thats good to hear. The dealer I worked with had their own courtesy cars for repairs that are expected to take longer. So I was happy they gave me a 22 F150. This dealer has not been perfect before but I am glad they came through for me for the stinkin transmission
So your 22 Timberline is not under the scope of the TSBs. I wonder what changed during mid cycle refresh. Can you take a picture of your front AC drain tube? Thanks
Thanks. It is definitely mildew due to the water sitting in the system and not draining. The issues doesnt really present itself until late spring/summer time when AC is most in use. I have a steep driveway of 12-13% decline when going into the garage and I have been letting it sit for 2-3...
Considering that I got mine at $16,500 off of MSRP and most of you guys buying new are paying close to MSRPs (and even over), yes I would buy my rig again. Also knowing that I have had "good luck" with my transmission issues.
I REALLY WANTED THE 2nd gen Raptor when I bought my Expedition. But...
Hey all, I have a 2019 Expedition Limited and I have had some issues with the HVAC smelling musty right after when the truck had AC on. I've tried the disinfectant method on to the HVAC intake through the cowl but it comes back eventually.
Upon further review, it looks like F-150s and super...
Good morning everyone! I glanced through most of the comments on here.. my experience the past month with my 2019 Ford Expedition Limited with a HDTTP @ 38000 miles (powertrain warranty was in effect) during repair was a COMPLETE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT!!!
My experience prior to repair was...
Looks like FALKEN WILDPEAKS is becoming popular recently. I too finally upgraded to new wheels and tires. I took a lot of time and effort on thinking on what I considered the perfect setup for me:
Wheels: Venom Rex (Vorsteiner OffRoad) VR-601 20"
Wheel Specs: 20 x 9 with +12mm offset in Desert...
Thanks for this! I've been eyeing on ICON's system for a long time but I was worried about the CCD interconnection. So good to know about this. However, you would think with ICON's new CDEV system, that they would take advantage of the OEM connection and work off of that.
I just ordered my Venom Rex VR-601s at 20 x 9 @ +12mm Offset. I do want the 285/55R20 for the tires but I am concerned about rubbing. Should I go with 275/55R20? I also think I am gonna go with General Grabber ATX tires
What I have found is that when using heat, it uses the rear quarter panel vents to get the heat out as fast as possible. if you demand cool air, the air will come out of top. Even if you force the heat to come out of the top vents at initial start up, only cold air comes out. My assumption is...
For those of you towing these much loads, what are your average Transmission temps (cold/hot ambient)? I will most like start towing some soon and I am starting to get concerned with my rig's trans. I do have a trans cooler but I have not really towed that much yet.
Thanks for making me feel better about keeping my '19MY Limited with HDTTP. I do agree the fact that in order for Ford to get rid of the base halogen headlights, they had to dis-content the upper end level to offer the same headlight across the board.
The led projects from 18-21 are more...
Looks nice! How long does it take to clean those wheels? haha
Same here. I have a 19MY Limited and I like the cohesive look of my Expy. Although I do wish I had Timberline capabilities.
