Problem With My 2000 Expedition XLT
If you turn off the 4awd and put it on 2wd that should eliminate the skipping in the turns. Then you can rule out anything else, but most likely something with the 4X4. I know on my dads Yukon if he has it on 4x4 Auto, that it skips all the time when turning.- Senatordan

You can go to Avic411.com. There you will find any help needed for any pioneer nav system broken down by type of stereo etc. I just installed a z2 and it helped a lot.- Senatordan

Dash Comp??? Switch
I have an 05 XLT. The other day when I pulled my dash off to install a Pioneer Avic Z2, I noticed that where the switches for the pedal (I think???) and the dash comp (mileage, total trip, etc) were the wires going to the dummy switches (plastic covers).
