GEM causes '-------' odometer problem with engine shutdown, intermittent malfunction?
The White 1999 Expedition is at K&D Auto Electric getting a GEM and fuse relay box changed out. About $410 in parts. The headlamps go on and cannot be turned off. '-------' on odometer with no run condition.
If you remove the 304 relay no power to PCM, the technician will get the telltale '-------' on odometer where there should be miles driven. I switched 301 fuel pump relay with 304 PCM Relay on drivers side under hood. The Expedition started and ran fine with numbers on odometer. The real test...- Duane Wong
