There are a number of Google hits. Here’s a couple:

Ok, that’s weird. We took a trip from IL to FL this winter and used BC extensively. Never had that happen.
We had the more typical lane wonder and several occasions where wind or a bump put it into an oscillation with wheel moving back and forth correcting for chassis rolling back and forth...
Thanks Craig,
That’s both interesting and confusing. I’ve read a number of articles and posts about 1.3 and 1.4 coming for other Ford vehicles. The implication being that 1.1, 1.2, and maybe 1.3 being skipped for a 1.4 release.
I guess I’m also assuming that feature sets are the same/similar...
Do you know what version of BlueCruise is installed on your car? We picked up a similar ‘24 Platinum in October with BC 1.0 and still waiting for our first update.
Congrats on the the new Expedition!
Thanks,
Greg
It’s a 6 month old Platinum. We just finished a 6,000 mile trip to FL and back. And took it to our favorite brushless car wash and had a small amount of water dripping from the speaker above the drivers head. This was the 3rd or 4th to this car wash with no previous issues. We had no issues with...
I have the iPhone 14 Pro max running IOS 17.1.2. My experience is that the sound quality is very good in the ‘24 Expedition Platinum. No issues with sound quality. It’s a new vehicle but no issues in 3+ months.
I have seen this issue with the cellular connections on several different phones...
FYI: I just stumbled into a settings page for “Wireless App Projection”. Searching for those terms in the onboard manual or the downloadable pdf does not have any hits. This forum has one entry from November that lists it in an error message. Google gets a few hits in the lightingowners forum...
It’s a ‘24 that we picked up the first week of October (arrived at the dealer on 9/27) and I assume (I was told) they did a full software update before delivery.
I’ve also setup auto updates to check every night. In the last 11 weeks nothing. The software update page says 23222_PRODUCT as the...
Hellwig,
Double checked the glovebox docs, manuals, etc. Dug out the closing paperwork. Nothing. Sorry.
Thought is might be on the doorjamb, no luck unless it's encoded.
Greg
Been there done that. Just kidding.
The settings include the ability to turn off Auto Unlock, but not auto lock.
I did try this process, but it seems only work on older cars:

Thanks,
Greg
Maybe, but the rear doors have child locks preventing anyone in the back seats from opening the doors if enabled. I believe I’ve found ways to turn off auto lock on earlier Expeditions that don’t work on our ‘24 Platinum. Seems like a conscious decision by Ford to make a change.
Has anyone been successful disabling the autolock feature in a 23 or 24 Expedition with Sync 4a?
I wasted over a half hour chatting with Ford Support trying things like turn on the car, triple unlock, turn off the car, triple unlock, turn on the car. She eventually had me disable Auto Unlock...
I think they call it a quick start quite. Includes the basic basics. Really wish they included a printed manual. Without an iPad or laptop it’s impossible to find out something while the vehicle is moving.
Hellwig, so far no joy on the orig sheet. Nothing in the car. I’ll try checking the...
Ok, I'll give it a shot.
I think it's pretty well charged. My trips are almost always 10+ miles and Auto Start Stop never runs more than once (before I remember to disable it.)
Thanks!
Greg
Our '24 Platinum had an odd failure last week. While driving I tried to check the tire pressures in My View (12" instrument cluster). It was gone. Disappeared. It was not available to be added to My View.
Looking further The Navigation, Phone, and Audio, menus had also disappeared along with...
Before buying our ‘24 Expedition we test drove an Infiniti QX80 that had a rear view mirror that could switch to a camera. I didn’t understand it at the time but it made my eyes uncomfortable. Later I realized you’re focused 100+ ft in front of the vehicle when driving and need to refocus to 2-3...
Not necessarily related, but FYI; We took delivery of a new Cayman GTS 4.0 last November. Shortly after getting the car to Chicago we had some condensation in the LED taillights.
After freaking out I learned that these lights can’t be completely sealed because of changes in atmospheric...
