My AC intermittently goes hot. The 2 door blend actuator have both been replaced 2 month ago due to the passenger side knocking sound. This problem started almost a year ago. When it goes hot, sometimes on the passenger side only and sometimes on the driver side. This Eddie Bauer model has a dual control for passenger and driver.
When it goes warm or hot, I turn off the AC for about 2 to 3 minutes and the AC will again start blowing cold air the whole day or sometimes for days without any issue.
Is here a temperature gauge or switch that monitors when AC or Heater is selected.
