Great info! I ordered all of the parts you listed. However, I could not get ACC power from Fuse 41. I tried some other fuses, but either I get power all the time, or I get none at all (with key in the on position or off). I have a 2008 Expedition.
Also, does anyone know where the dimmer/illumination wire is on the Expedition? The orange/white wire that goes to the factory harness adapter is not correct.
Subwoofer would not turn on. Any ideas? I only connected the RCA cables, perhaps I need to connect the remote turn-on wires?
EDIT: Subwoofer needs to have remote turn on connected. On the 5521 harness, I had to use one of the blue/white wires. FYI, one of them did NOT work. Try both blue/white wires until you figure out which works. I believe it's the wire on the outside edge.
