Huh, .555-.596 on the pads, tossed a dial indicator up on the rotor -/+ .008?
I've come this far I'm just gonna do it. Have the rotors turned at my leisure for the next go round. I will clean the snot out if the hub. Would a light coat of antisieze hurt between the hub and rotor?

Good news! Akebono (a first) packed the right pads in the wrong ratio. I got three caliper side pads and one cyl/piston side. The difference? Apparently not much as I discovered after the test drive and break in!

There's a little extra meat on the cyl/piston side pad which I'm assuming is/should/ will be important. I called the parts folks they are shipping me a new set over night. Which means friday[emoji107] Easter plans canceled! It doesn't seem to make a difference and by finger gauge the piston is hitting the metal backing if the pad just fine. But it's my family in that truck and it's just not worth risking it.
