When pulling a hill or towing a trailer my 2015 Ford Expedition engine will buck and at times the check engine light will flash. Vehicle is not showing any error codes. Possible issue?

Likely coil packs or spark plugs. Have you connected a reader to see codes? It should have logged a code.

How many miles on the plugs? They're done well before 100K. Torque app and ELM OBD adapter will enable you to pull codes.

Check engine light on is one thing, flashing is bad, need a scan tool from a good shop/borrow one. Could be a cylinder misfire and putting raw fuel into cats, very expensive.
