30 mph and less

I have a problem with my 97 expo not being able to accelaerate pass 30 mph. Im hoping to get some good suggestions as to what the problem could be. I know the exhaust manifold screw has broken and needs replacing. Could that alone be the problem?

My Saturn was acting the same way and was also low on power. I finally figured out it was my catalytic converter.
Try pulling out your front o2 sensors and see if it solves your problem. Don't drive around too much with the o2 sensor out though because it will run rich.

A clogged fuel filter will also cause the same problem.
