All,

My front vents tend to blow warm, occasionally cold, compared to the rear which is near ice cold all the time.

Setting is generally on MAX AC and at highway speeds & can feel the 'lug' on the engine when the compressor engages and a spurt of cold air out of the front vents.

Both thermostats set on far left (cold) position & noticeable condensation builds up on the lines and drips from underneath in the front & rear.

Haven't run it in a very long time, yeah go figure in the Panhandle, but I go to work early and home late generally using the windows.

Any ideas like checking freon or other pointers from you gurus?.

Thanks in advance.
PanHandler.

Front blend door - cracked pivot allows door to flop back and forth and not respond to temp. control setting.
Blend door actuator - flat electric motor controlled by temp. knob is failing

My first thought was a clogged orifice tube. That's an expensive fix, though, so hopefully I'm wrong!
