98 Expedition EB Bumpy Ride

Hey Guys,

Just recently got an 98 expedition eb with 180k on it and it runs pretty good and so far for the price I paid I'm satisfied. I just had one question this is my first SUV and the previous owner had the Air Suspension removed for a more basic spring/shock set up but I didn't know the ride was going to be this bumpy and shaky. Sometimes on the highway it almost seems like the car shutters over multiple bumps but seems to do fine with just one or two. Should I just get the delux kit from strutmasters? Has anyone used it before? I'm not really looking to lift the truck I just want a smoother less bumpy ride.

check out the shocks. sounds like they may be due to be changed

i think a different shock/coil combination would get you the ride you are looking for. not sure about the deluxe kit but some better shocks would probably do the trick.
