Anyone ever had these or a style like it? I am thinking of going to a smaller rim and bigger tire setup like a set of 31"s or something. Just kicking ideas around.

i like 16s. im not into the big rim big tire thing. i am if thats wht im going for. like 22s or 24 with small rubber bands for tires, but small rims big tires is what i like. 16s arnt to big or to small. 15s are pushing the small and 18s are pushing the big. and theres a lot of tires that are for the 16" rim.

i agree. i am not a fan of big ol rims and little rubber. i had 16x10 on my truck with 365/65/16 toyo open country on my truck but they dont make that size tire in a 16in rim anymore. so i was shopping for different rims and they guy sold me these kmc 18x9 for 95ea. so i couldnt pass that up. but i still have my 16x10 sittin the garage. just waitin to put some new rubber on them...

I bought the Cragar version of this which are called the Soft 8's. I bought them from Summit Racing for about $80 each. I have the 17 x 8 and I had the outer edge painted to match the Eddie Bauer gold color of the trim. I get nothing but compliments on them. I was originally looking for the American Racing Black Nugget wheels, but they discontinued them.

those are the AR-767s if I remember correctly.... i had a set of 16x8s on my F150 before I went to 38s... but I'm on my second set of 16x10s on my expy and love them... especially the Dick Cepek DC-2s... would love to go to a set of 20s on 37s but got other things to buy first

see thats wht i mean. 20 or 22 with 37s. just dosent look right to me. looks kind of funny. idk. but i wouldnt mind some wider rims. our trucks looks big and these thin tires look out of place. but school comes first and im almost done with this degree. 1 more semester then got to go back for welding. but hopefully ill have a job by then. so i can get what ever i want.
