I am looking for pic's of anyone who has black rims on their Expy? I am thinking about buying some but don't want to buy the wrong ones and mess the whole thing up. If you have pic's I would appreciate it.

check out my photos I had black rims on my 08 Expy untill I wrecked it and bent a wheel, looked alot better than the chromb wheels did.

Yes they do look better. I have a 2011 Black Expy and do not like the stock chrome wheels. I missed out on a set very similar to the ones on yours. They were 400.00 for all 4. Bummin

Got black on mine. They started chrome, and a few plastidip coats later... black.
I did a quick little photo shop a while back of a member and blacked his stock wheels out for him. Showing what the wheels would look like if they were painted, or dipped..

go to cardomain.com...you'll find them there...we have a "murdered" 2nd gen expedition on here...dont remember his name but he's in alaska...and i think another one is in louisianna both are 03-06

Depending on where you live i still have all 4 of my 18" black wheels I had on my expy that I will sell but one is still bent, tire store said the set is still worth over $500 but 1 is bent and I can not for the life of me find a replacement but for that reason i'll let them go for $150 + shipping for all 4 I origionally paied $1600 for them in 09 and they are stored in doors, there are places out there that can fix bent alluminum wheels let me know if interested ok?

Just curious, when you used the plastidip, are they textured at all?
I did parts of my center column, and it has "some" texture, it is not perfectly smooth.
Wanted to see if I am applying correctly, and that is just how it looks, or if i need to peel it off and start again...
