It been almost 1 year I disable 4wd because of issue with transfer case.

Right now I really need 4wd FIX

Problem is it stuck in 4wd no way to disable. Unplug fuse and cut brown wire it still in 4wd. It going in 4wd Low no problem.

I remove driveshaft and check it was STUCK in 4wd all times.

Other issue with front axle. It axle shaft go in housing had play and make noise. I wonder if I can replace bearing/seal without remove front axle off?

Reason I want FIX cause it had snowplow so it suck to push in 2wd.

The Vehicle Does Not Shift Between A4WD and 4WD Modes Properly

check
4WD mode switch.
Circuitry.
CJB Fuses 23 (10A) and 20 (5A)
A4WD clutch relay/circuit.
Contact plate sensors A, B, C and D circuits.
Transfer case shift motor/circuit.
Transfer case shift relays.
Transfer case mechanism.
GEM.

Rotate the mode switch to the A4WD, 4H, and 4L positions.

Measure the resistance between mode switch terminals 2 and 3 while rotating the mode switch through all switch positions; refer to the following chart.
Mode Switch Position Resistance Range
A4WD 3,700-4,100
4WD HIGH 1,040-1,160
4WD LOW 340-380
