Can i fit 35/12.50 on my 2005 expedition 2wd?

Ok so i just installed a 3.5 inch level kit on my 2005 expedition and i have some 35/12.50 in my garage waiting to go on but someone told me i have to run spacers or it will hit the upper control arm. Does anyone know if this is true? Please let me know

i have a 3 inch lift level kit on mine with 35/12.50. i ran it without spacers and didn’t hit upper control arm. but i put 2 inch spacers and all i hit now is bumper at full turn
