Center display always on Tow menu

How do I select a specific menu tab as a default for the center display?

The Tow menu always shows up when I start the truck.

The instruction manual? Those buttons on the left sidebar of the wheel will let you select from a bunch of menus.

Yes I know!
My problem us that the display always defaults back to the Tow menu.

Oh that’s weird. Mine goes to whatever the last screen was.

Do you have something plugged into the trailer plugs at the back of the truck? I think it detects that and automatically selects the Tow menu.

What fixed this for me was going into the towing menu, and unchecking default (or whatever is selected) trailer

That’s where I saw it. Told my dad who has a 17 F150 the same. His has been stuck there for over a year
