Cutting wheel well anyone done this on a 3rd gen expy?

Since a bigger lift other than a 3/2 level kit (which I have) seems to be out of the question due to advancetrac rsc.. has anyone attempted this before? The rears look like they will be no issue, fronts maybe a bit of work and some relocation/remounting of the plastic dust/rock covers separating the wheels from the engine bay. Just trying to get some more clearance for suspension travel since my offset is a bit more aggressive..

Any thoughts? Ideas?

This really seems like the cheapest route to me to make the additional travel happen.

Wouldn't that put to harsh of an angle on the CVs?

Or are you talking about between the hubs and rims? There is just to much rubber to get out from under the wheels wells safely with spacers I think and it would probably look silly even with flares.
