Do 2nd gen second row seats fit 3rd gen?

Bought a 2009 EL that came with plywood storage boxes instead of seats. I need second row seats for my kid. Do I have to limit myself to 3rd gens? Only a couple in the local JYs.

Also which trims came with cloth seats? Mine is a white XLT, grey/white seats (in the front).

I can confirm 2nd Gen seats will fit in a 3rd Gen Expedition. I found a 2003 XLT Expy in the local picapart with manual cloth 3rd row seats. It fit perfectly in my 2017 SSV.
If you are planning on grabbing some seatbelts they had a torx 50+ head which was a pain to remove from the donor car but an Allen wrench worked.
