engine misfiring

I have recently been having my engine sputtering.It sounds and feels like 1 or more cylinders not firing. There is a strong smell of gas when it is running , but they're are no leaks. There are no codes popping up. I did pull the coil plug on the 1 cylinder and the was no change in the way it was running. Would anybody have any suggestions. I think possibly a bad coil but not for sure.

Take it to autozone or somewhere to get pull the codes. Good place to start. Is cylinder 1 the only one you pulled that didn't affect how it was running?

I vote on a bad coil pack. if you keep running it like that it will eventually wipe out other coils too....

looks like a good excuse to to replace them all with high performance ones
