engine oil gauge

Hi everyone i was wondering if anyone else has come across this same problem occasionally on a cold start the oil pressure gauge would not move up to the normal position and the red oil and temp lights would come on out never did this until i did the first oil change and the weather got colder I checked the oil and its good it is a00 4.6 xlt I'm hoping it might just be a sensor or something thanks

I have the same problem in mine, only on startup, when its cold out. It's not like it reads low, its like it doesn't work at all. I'm also assuming its a sensor. If I rev the engine a few hundred RPM's, the gage starts working again.
