We are still waiting . No idea of build date ?? Anyone got any news from Kansas ? Ours will hopefully have the correct differential to tow 9000lbs . Ill remind our Ford dealer . Can we get a CD Player ? If not , what is easiest to use . This uploading of 100 CD s is labor intensive .

@taylor910, what was your order timeline like from when you received the in production email to the notification of built and shipped? Were there any glitches in the tracker system where something disappeared during the in production stage and then showed back up when it was shown as built? I saw other forums for different models that said certain features, like accessing the window sticker, disappeared for a few days until they received the built email and their vehicle was already shipped out.

@NukeLife I’m curious, was your phone being charged wirelessly during the screen switching incident where the phone heated up?

Did you try using voice commands for things like changing temp instead of the screen?

Phone wasn’t on the charging pad, but it was plugged in.

And no I didn’t try even the first voice command. That’s a good thought. Hopefully the ease of voice controls kinda balances out the lack of discreet buttons and knobs.

You need to rip your cd's to mp3. Its really easy to do, but somewhat time consuming. Worth it in the end. I agree, you need physical buttons for climate, heated/cooled seats and other basic functions. I think having the heated steering wheel button as screen only is a big mistake. I like larger higher resolution screens, but not at the expense of physical buttons. There is an ideal size somewhere in the middle.

I did not do a custom order. I put down 3 deposits at different dealerships based on projected delivery date and took the first one that came in. That being said:
