So I got a set of Pioneer's best 6"x8" speakers for really cheap (non-component). I took the door panel off and got a little confused looking at two different sets of wires going into the factory 6x8. Looks like two of the wires coming off the speaker go to the tweeter. I don't want to end up loosing sound quality, so I am wondering why this OEM setup is the way it is. It is possible to wire these aftermarket speakers up and still have use of the tweeter? Are these speakers/tweeters applified?
I just want to make sure that I will actually gain volume and sound quality by putting these new 6x8's in, still using factory head unit.
