i have a 01 expo E.B. im getting my trk ready for car shows this summer but i cant turn my inside lights or running board lights off which causes my battery to die when i leave my doors open what can i do. thanks

You could find out what fuse it is that they are on, pull it and then put it back once you are getting ready to leave.

It should work, I don't know of anything else really to do. I know that my 2007 will turn them off after a certain amount of time though. I don't think the 2001's did that.

my 99 does... usually leave my doors open at shows... and it shuts off after a little while

Beebee, you could always rotate the door latches and that will cause the truck to think the doors are closed. Then all you have to do is remember to pull on the door handle before you close the doors to reset the latch. Seems pretty easy to me.
