I am getting a bit frustrated by some of the things the Factory Service Manual does NOT tell you. For example, while there is an exploded diagram showing the "outside window weatherstrip" i.e. belt line molding at the bottom of the side windows, there is no mention of how to remove them.

I know from experience that many trim items tend to snap in place and then break when you try to pull them unless you are very careful and know all the special "tricks" for each one. Are these moldings clipped in place? Press-fit? Bolted?

If anyone reading this has successfully removed or replaced one of these moldings, please tell me what is involved.

Thanks!!! :D

I don't have my Expy nearby, but look just inside the door edge. May be a screw you need to remove then slide the moulding back. You should be able to lift it up at that point.
