picked up my 98' expedition a few weeks ago for a decent price that I couldn't pass up. Hoping the forums will help me through the confusing world of working on the massive thing.

It has a few quirks and problems, but what 98' with 214k won't have problems? Things to fix - Heater cores. both started leaking on the previous owner, both have been bypassed. Cylinder head - spark plug popped out on previous owner. Previous owner JB welded plug back in and unhooked injector. Slight oil leak somewhere, about a quart a month.
Stuff already done - full audio install done. Speakers were toast - no foam surround left whatsoever. Amp wiring pulled through (think I'll pay someone to do it next time. lol) Subwoofer added, just a single 15 until i can get a big 3 done. new head unit put in.
Gave it a bath - anyone know how to get that black stuff off of cars? dunno if it's tree sap or pitch or what, but it's all over the roof of the car.
