I put 285's on a bone stock Eddie Bauer and they fit great. A very light rub at full lock on the plastic in front but all is good. I put in 2" rear spacers and cranked the torsions up all the way. Got almost 3" of lift and no rub anywhere. Go with the 285's they look awesome filling up the fender well better.

Go with the 285's. I had 265's for a month or so and regretted it. Ended up selling all 4 for $100 just to get rid of them. They looked like skateboard wheels. So I went with 315's. Here's a pic with the 265's. Really really small.

There is no doubt 285s look better. But as with anything else, there is a tradeoff. The first thing is weight. There is a difference and it does matter. The second is gearing. I turn 33s with heavy steel wheels on stock gearing and it sucks towing anything heavy. You plan on towing a lot of weight? You might regret 33s on stock gears.
