Well I have been flippin a few cars and needed a tow vehicle to pick some of them up....So I came across this ol girl who needed a little TLC and got her for a $1000.00

I looked at everything from 1995 and newer and they were all rusted, banged or just beat down and they wanted more money than what I paid for this truck. I looked at Expeditions as well and just couldn't find one that had potential to put money into...at least one here in Michigan.

This 1986 Ford F-250 was in Ohio for only 2 years and originally came from Arizona...she is solid and worth putting money into...has a 460 4bbl with C6 trans and is strong. Has a 134,000 miles with a fresh engine put in at 106k.

I paid a grand and have put about 1,300.00 into it and got a great truck! Just thought I would share with you all....its not my Expy, but is a whole lot easier to work on! any thoughts??

At least the center console looks like it came of a expy lol. Nice truck. I have a 95 f250 but with a 7.3 turbo almost at 300,000 miles and works perfect.
Easy to work on too

She looks nice for sure. I have a 1992 F150 and a 1993 F350 and I adore the bullnose style as well. I love my Expy but there's just something about those older trucks that just gives em character. That's a killer find, especially for $1000

I'm thinking about buying an older ford like yours except it's a single cab swb with only 86000 miles. but he wants $3,000.00 so not sure if i want to do that. It's in great condition.

here is his post: Hello I am trying to sell me 1987 ford f250 xlt lariat. Has new timing chain, water pump, thermostat, main seals all new gaskets, starter, alternator , and new tires with less than 600 miles on them. If intersted please contact Kevin at

What's up Baker? A 460 with a 4bbl, can you say GPM's (gallons per mile).
