I've seen anywhere from 10 to 15. Oddly enough I think they were back-to-back on a road trip. 13.1 is my overall average. Not bad. I'm happy.

My lifted 4.0 SOHC lifted Explorer with 33s and 4.56 gets about 16 on the highway. Not bad. I'm happy.

I'd do cartwheels if my 4x4 hit 12mpg. It runs so smooth and with 0 issues, I don't dare touch it. I did put new wipers on it yesterday. Rained today, first of the season.

You folks make me feel good! My stock 1999 EB (All wheel drive) averages around 14. I have Michelin M & S IIs, so not much grip, but help my mileage.
I have had my fuel pump replaced, mine died at only about 10,000 miles. but my three year warranty was up, so I had to pay. I bought a motorcraft one off ebay, for $240, but that was many years ago. I do keep plenty of gas in the tank, I'm always filling-up gas cans, so I fill the vehicle too.

I could probably get my Mpg's up by doing a few things. But it runs so perfect, and idles so smooth, I don't dare touch it. I don't drive much if any freeway driving, so even perfect my mileage would never go above 11-12. Four wheel drive expeditions rarely do. When I was younger, I couldn't afford to keep my tank full, now that I can, I do.

I know that, just messing around. Don't you live in Amish country? They must hate your big SUV when you roll by.

I envy them They get great MPB's (bales) Only 1 HP little to no maintenance. Doesn't require a battery to start.
