I am replacing the cam phasers, timing chain kit, and lash adjusters on my 05 Expy 5.4 3V in a couple weekends. My question is should the new lash adjusters be primed or bled. The new set I received seem to be completely pumped up with oil, and will not compress at all. Is this normal and should i install them this way or bleed them down. Don't want to break a valve sprung or damage a valve or something.

They should be soaked in oil overnight. I soaked mine for a couple days before I put them in and it fired right up. No noise or ticking at all.
Strange they are already pumped up or filled with oil.
