my 2001 expedition 4.6l is leaking oil on the right hand side. i need to find out if there was a recall or service bulletin on it.

when i pulled up the alldata site i did get this info:

03-6-2 MAR 03 Engine - Oil Leak From R/H Cylinder Head Gasket

but i don't have the money to get an account with alldata to find out what it says.

i have an extended warranty on the truck (up to 104k) and the truck only has 89-90k. i'm hoping there is something from ford so they can fix it without having to use my extended warranty.

thanks.

go to www.ford-trucks.com and look under recalls/tsb tab and choose full text and just look it up by year, f150 and the number.

Nice to see a fellow arlington, tx member. Welcome to the boards.

nevermind, i found the full text tsb is the info i needed. from the looks of it the tsb just tells the tech what to look for and how to fix it, it doesn't look like it will be under ford's warranty. so it looks like i might have to have my extended warranty cover it.
