I wanted to share my experience about my new garage floor.
I was going to get my garage floor done with the epoxy layered coating. Then I read about HOT tire, where you pull in with hot tires, from a trip, and the tires stick to the floor and pull up the paint.
Of course, this doesn't happen a lot, but here in Florida it could happen more often.
So, I decided to try a snap lock system. I researched and found the 2 top brands were Swiss Track and Race Deck. I went with Race Deck, because I felt it was a better product and the 1 foot pieces came in 2 foot sections.
It took my Daughter and I 4 hours to install it. I did clean and prep and use standard charcoal garage floor paint the day before installing it.
The install was very easy, and it was the best decision I made. The cost doing it myself was less than me paying someone to do the epoxy floor.
The plus is the look and no waiting time to use the garage.
