My wife's 2010 Expedition is making a short-duration noise when accelerating from a stop. Just a short 1/2 second "chuu" sound. Only does it when accelerating in first gear from a dead stop. Can't tell if it's a metal on metal or a whoosing noise like air entering the throttle body. Can't hear it any other time.
Anyone have the same experience?
I've also noticed a fluid leak from somewhere in the front, somewhere between the radiator and the transmission pan. Not a puddle but just a fluid stain on the garage floor. Can't tell what the fluid is though. I told her to have the service people look for it at the next oil change.
