I was trying to remove an O2 sensor today coming off bank 1 on my 06 expedition which a very tight fit....anyway I tried using O2 socket no luck....tried wrench/vicegrips/pipe wrench...no luck. used penetrating oil and tried heating with torch.....at this point it was starting to strip and not budging still. I called my bro in law who had a similar problem and scoured the hardware store for wrenches....He suggested a Basin wrench(which is in the plumbing section if your not familiar). Any way two pulls and it came right off. I strongly recommend this if the preferred options do not work.

I know it does not look like much but it is a beast!!
