Just found this site and was impressed to see the lifted Expeditions on here.

Our family has a 2000 Eddie Bauer with A4WD. It has a 5" lift and I run it on 2 sets of tires/wheels (all-terrains for daily driving and mud-terrains for off-roading).

Here's a list of some of the mods:
  • 3" Performance Accessories body lift and gap guards
  • 2" Daystar rear coil spring spacers
  • Cranked Up Front Torsion Bars
  • Hotchkis anti-sway bars (front & rear)
  • Rancho RS9000XL (front shocks)
  • 325/60-20 Nitto Terra Grappler tires on Sportmetal Balmer Wheels (20x10)
  • 35x12.50R17 ProComp Mud Terrains on MB Motoring Precise Wheels (17x8.5)
  • 315/70-17 BFG spare tire
  • 1.5" billet aluminum wheels spacers
  • Modified Receiver Hitch (raised 3")
  • GoRhino HitchStep
  • Harley-Davidson valance, fog lights, and lower billet grille
  • Bull Bar
  • Alpine A/V System (head unit, cd changer, 1000W amp, rear view camera)
  • MTX Thunderform enclosures (1 in rear stock location and 1 under 2nd row seat)
  • 200A alternator
  • Optima Red Top battery
  • Lincoln Navigator Trim (belt moldings, roof rack, door handles)
  • Billet Aluminum Fuel Door (painted black)
  • Auto Meter Lunar Series Instrument Cluster
  • Edge Evolution Programmer/Display (EEF-2100)
  • JLT Performance intake
  • Custom Exhaust (3"SI/2.5"DO)
  • Zinc-Plated Slotted & Cross-Drilled Rotors (front & rear)
  • Kevlar Brake Pads
  • Painted Brake Calipers (front & rear)
  • FX4 Front Skid Plate
  • LED Tail Lights
  • Black Projector Headlights with HID system (6000k bulbs)
  • APC Corner Lights (black)
  • Lund WindJammer (painted black)
  • Cowl Induction Hood
  • Vertical Grille
  • Street Scene Side Vents (Ranger Rover style)

I look forward to learning more from you guys and sharing some cool ideas...

sure as hell looks like you put your money's worth into that rig!
looks awesome. i hope to have a similar setup done with mine pretty soon, just tryin' to make a few extra bucks.

going for the 3" BL (after debating with myself several times), 2" polyurethane rear coil spacers, and going with a set of 4 315/75/16 BFG A/T's...

as well as a whole bunch of other exterior accessories along with a nice exhaust kit once I make some cash.

Thanks!

EXPY LOVE, if you plan to just go with the 315/75/16 BFG A/T's, you can actually run them with only the 3" body lift. I was running a 315/70-17 set with just the body lift at one point.

OOXLT, I like your Katana. I still have my '90 Katana 600 from my college days.

yes sir you are correct, but I just wanna go with the extra 2 inches to match with the torsion twist... but i see your running 325's... you're a step ahead of us... lol

I'd been waiting to get a hood for a while, too. And then I was able to find this one for $100 last year from a local guy who was trying clean out his shop's inventory (I just kept an eye out on Craigslist).

At the time I installed the subwoofer enclosure under the 2nd row seat, we had 2 car seats. But now we have 3 (for a 7-, 5-, and 1-year-old). :D
