popping coming from small box behind radio

This just started today when i turn my car on for the first time it will click and pop for about 15-20 seconds and then stop. anyone know what this item is? it's an 07 xlt

Lol I was hoping to not have to get in there and take it out. Thought someone might have had a similar issue. I gave it a couple whacks with the handle of my screwdriver and it seems to be doing it less now. Maybe good old fashioned hitting it with a hammer might work this time! I'll post the number when I pull it out. Thanks guys!
