Power Distribution Relay box 97 expedition

Can anyone tell me what the relays are for in the small relay box to the right of the Main power distribution box on the right fender well the only diagram I can find shows fuses not relays & they are not marked.thanks

Hi , jr1under , here is a picture of the two (2) boxes 0n1 is all relays & the other one behind it is fuses , can not find these in the manual or online, can any one help please, thanks Larry

You're right, they don't look anything alike.

HI,jr1under, yep i found that one on line in the end the one i cant find is the other one with all relays in it ,it is next to the main fuse box under hood, thanks for all your help , Larry

*the paragraph below is based on research, not experience, and I can't guarantee it's 100.0% accurate.

That relay box was installed as part of a Year 1 Gen 1(1997) recall and, as you showed, there was more than one version. Ford didn't publish any documents so there is no single correct ordering for the box even if installed by a dealer.

What problems are you having that involve those circuits?
