Anyone have a suggestion on what guides I should purchase for replacements? I pulled a motor out of a wrecked truck and want to do what I can (within reason) while it's out to have this thing last. It's an 03 4.6 with 120,000 miles. Ran strong and sounded good before I pulled it... I'm not a mechanic and this is my first motor pull (wouldn't mind if it's my last haha).
One head looks like it was maybe replaced? The pictures aren't great because of the light but one side is all clean and even though it looks a little yellow in the pic, it's not at all stained from oil.
