Rear driver side door won't open from inside.. Help

My 98's rear driver side door wont open from the inside, but it'll open from the outside. I made sure that the "child proof lock" is off. Does anyone here had that issue before and what did you do to fix it? Thanks

Have you taken the door panel off? Does the handle use a cable to unlock the door? Maybe it popped off some how.

try both ways on the baby prood. my rear right door dose that some times.

mines a 99 and theres a rod in side that can pop off take the panel off and look. its simple.

thanks for the inputs. I took the panel off today and found that the rod was stuck. A little WD40 and its fixed!! Thanks again...
