Rear glass button

So I have a 2015 expedition and the last few days the lift gate/glass ajar message is showing on my dashboard but the lift gate and glass are both shut. However, I noticed the button for the glass won’t open the glass all of a sudden and last night getting into the vehicle the inside lights were all on. I noticed when the vehicle was either parked or my foot was on the break the inside lights would come on but when I put my foot on the gas the lights all went off. This is all with the lift gate/glass message still appearing on the dashboard. I’m thinking maybe a sensor but can’t find anything to assist. TiA
