I can’t seem to get to the bottom of this issue. It’s starts the vehicle just fine but embarrasses the crap out of me. The only solution I’ve come up with is by pressing the unlock button on the entry remote (disabling the factory alarm) prior to holding down the remote start button on the one-button remote. That works but there is no audible signal that the unlock request was received so if not I get stuck with the loudest horn alarm ever and it’s hard as heck to stop. It seems as if there’s no factory alarm disarm signal being sent before starting.. any ideas?
