Reprogram remote start

I was looking to add remote start to my XLT, but when I checked under the dash I already had the Ford Perimeter Plus module connected. This makes sense because I know for sure my shock sensors work on my SUV. Is connecting the OBD2 to FORScan and adjusting the remote start setting the best way to get remote start working?

Does anyone know how much the dealer charges to activate remote start via FORScan. I’m trying to see if it’s worth going to the dealer or buying an OBD2 adapter for my laptop.
