Recently, both my wife and I noticed we have to turn the key much further to crank up the engine than ever before. In fact, at first I thought something was wrong with the battery, but they realized it will start after turning the key all the way to the stop. Has anyone encountered this before?

does it give you any problems on start up?
No, it does not. In fact, it got a bit better. I did try to wash the engine with a steam jenny before the trouble started. I think it might be ignition switch relay, which sits right on the fire wall near when the most spray ended up. I have a feeling this was at least a part of this issue. I will install the new switch and update this post with results.
